I like this marriage proposal... a lot, really. At first, I wondered why in the world he was planting the flowers, but the more I thought about his soon-to-be fiance watching the video, with her excitment building as he got closer and closer to where she was... the more I dug it. I really love the ending.
All you long distance relationship guys take note! You are in the perfect position to surprise the socks off your girl. My husband surprised me with a cross country trek to propose, and it was a day I'll never forget.

Forever Friday: Cute Flashmob Wedding Proposal
Ok...so I know that the flashmob thing has been done, and done...and done some more. But something about this one made me stop and watch. Really, really cute. I especially love watching the groom-to-be's nerves as he's waiting to join in, and the bride-to-be's reaction to it all. Plus, this groom-to-be actually has some serious moves. Kudos all around.

Forever Friday: An adorable marriage proposal video
So, when one of my besties posted this on her facebook page, and I sat there turning into ooey-gooey mush as I watched Isaac propose to his adorable girlfriend, Amy, I knew I had to share.
Such a cute proposal. He involved family, friends and loved ones. He was creative and original. He was... just adorable. That's the only word. Good luck to all you guys out there who have yet to propose. You officially have a lot to live up to. :)

When I saw this proposal video, I knew I had to share it.
I'm not sure what I would do if my husband-to-be turned Enchanted when he proposed! I think I'd be just as confused and shocked as this bride-to-be was.

Forever Friday: Cute Proposal Story
When Lori and Brian contacted me about doing a custom guest book for their upcoming July wedding, I was thrilled. The vintage inspired theme, complete with costumed photos, peacock feathers and birdcages is going to be a designing delight!
Maybe even more fun than their theme, though, is their cute story and the way they are incorporating it into their guest book. I loved their proposal story so much, I thought I'd share it for this week's Forever Friday.

In Lori's words: It was December 30th when it all began. It was the most beautiful unexpected day of my life!! It could not have been any more perfect. Well, it all started with Brian's sister, Angie, nonchalantly asking me if we wanted to go to the movies with her and her kids. She said her kids have been wanting to see "We Bought A Zoo." I told her I would ask Brian and get back to her. I brought it up to Brian and I asked him if he wanted to go. He acted like he didn't really want to, but he agreed. Brian and Ayden (my son) were acting so calm, cool and collected. I actually called my mother before we went and asked her to come as well. So we are sitting there, and after all the advertisements the lights went dark and the screen went black. I heard our song start playing. I kind of crouched down in my seat; my heart started beating. All of a sudden, across the screen our picture popped up and the lyrics to our song came up, and then it said in huge letters LORI ANN KLUG, WILL YOU MARRY ME? Brian grabbed my hand, walked me out to the aisle and professed his love for me. Ayden handed him the ring, and Brian got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I, of course, said YES!!!! All our family and friends came rushing in, and everyone clapped. It was absolutely perfect. The whole theatre started clapping; one guy yelled "what did she say" haha. We had an engagement party right after. If you are wondering, we didn't stay and watch the movie, so I couldn't tell you how it was. :) Brian, Angie, my sister (Jennifer), and everyone else involved did such a wonderful job planning and keeping it a secret from me. I had no clue at all!! Thank you to everyone who made it the most unforgettable day!!!!!

Dear Fellow Lovers of Love:
How can I express how sorry I am for falling off the face of the earth for the past few months? Alas, wedding season was upon us, and we were very busy around here designing our little hearts out. Wedding guest books, and albums and...bears? Oh my!? No excuse, except that we were doing what we love very most (losing ourselves in your mushy gushy gooey love stories...love it!!), and our blog took a bit of a back burner. I sincerely apologize, and hope to be back on track for once a week starting, well now.
To make it up to you, I have an extra special treat. One of our wedding season couples, Laura & Blake, just got married on the 17th. A big congratulations to them! As part of their killer guest book, they included a proposal page (Blake was sneaky enough to have a camera ready for the big moment).
In his words: "Laura and I met through friends 2.5 years ago but I had a crush on her in college. We are truly each others best friends and enjoy every moment spent with each other. I proposed to her on a cliff where my grandpa has a bench for my grandmother who passed away, and I happened to get a picture of it while we were taking pictures for our new house. I had the camera on a timer and it was perfect!"
