Let's get the week started right with a little bit of wedding mishap, mixed with a little bit of wedded bliss, shall we? :) Today's post comes from Jannali who recently married her sweetie Ryan. It's a great reminder of what Mishap Mondays are all about: remembering that little mishaps don't take away from the awesome-ness of your big day...they just add to the memories! 
I married my high school sweetheart on August 5, 2010. It had poured the day before and that continued raining that morning. But just before the ceremony began the clouds went away and it was all sunshine! It was beautifully overcast for the reception which was perfect since the two of us were outside greeting our guests as they came. I couldn't have asked for a better day. Every wedding has it's mishaps of course, mine being: forgetting my garter, ripping the back of my dress on the see through overlay part (just a few inches so it wasn't even noticeable thankfully!) ruined my expensive white shoes from taking pictures out in field. But through all of the non perfect things I had a smile on my face and enjoyed it all because after all it was my wedding day and I wanted to love every minutes of it and focus on the biggest part of that day...being married to my best friend. We danced, played with the photobooth it was a whirlwind of non stop for 3 hours and yet it just flew by in a wink of an eye. We have been married now for 6 weeks and having the time of our lives! :D
