Mishaps Make the Memories Monday

Since this is the only category I haven't shared in, I thought I'd take today and let you all know where the inspiration for Mishap Mondays came from.
My wedding was awesome, and I loved every minute of it. But guess what? Even with all the planning and attention to detail, it wasn't perfect! The flower girls somehow got put in the wrong dresses, meaning one of their dresses was too big and one of their dresses was too small; the billions of themed CD favors my husband spent hours before the wedding burning got put on an out-of-the-way table and barely touched; but my all-time-favorite blooper? The one that still has me, and some of our guests, laughing? Well...

We hired an amazing videographer (highly recommend doing it...so worth it). He was kind enough to do a rush editing job on the morning ceremony footage so we could play it, along with a photo montage, that same night at the reception. It played on a TV as everyone entered on a continuous loop...over and over and over. Each time the video restarted, the names "Amber & Brent" flashed up on the screen in a lovey-dovey font, under a cutesy-ootsey picture. But...uh... my new hubbie's name is Brian. It gets better... Brent is my dad!!!!! ha ha ha ha. Tell me THAT wasn't hilarious? Brian's friends had a GREAT time with THAT one as they came through the line. :)

The videographer fixed the mistake for our final copy, but the original copy still sits on a shelf holding a special place in my giggling heart. :)
Now it's YOUR turn... beat that one... I DARE you. :)
