Colby and I were headed on our honeymoon to sunny Florida and we wanted to go through the "money cards" that we received at our reception to take any cash along with us as extra spending money...however, we didn't want to take the checks with us to Florida and we needed someone to pick our car up because we were taking a cab to the airport. So we called Colby's dad to come get the remaining cards and checks the morning of our flight, but Colby accidentally also handed his dad our flight tickets. As we were boarding our shuttle bus, I asked Colby if he had the tickets and a look of panic came over his face. Long story short, we kept calling and calling his dad to make him turn around to give us the tickets so we wouldn't miss our flight. We finally got a hold of him, the hotel paid for a cab for us to get to the airport, his dad told us the wrong airline after we were certain it was a different one and we ended up missing our flight. Needless to say-we caught a later flight and made it to Florida by 10 PM that night...we were exhausted and feeling a little anxious, wondering if we really could be responsible enough to be on our own...here we are almost 10 years later and we are making it on our own just great!
